Towing Fog/Day Signals

Fog Signals
One long blast followed by two short blasts at intervals of not more than two minutes.

This would be immediately followed, if practical, by the towed vessel sounding one prolonged by three short blasts if it is manned.

Note that when a pushing vessel and a vessel being pushed are RIGIDLY CONNECTED IN A COMPOSITE UNIT they are regarded as a power driven vessel and use the power vessel fog signal.

Day Shapes
A diamond on both the towing and towed vessels.
