If the vessel was NOT making way, then it would just exhibit the red-white-red lights.

Restricted in ability to manoeuvre, under 50 metres..
Making Way, bows view. (Basically a red/white/red in addition to normal lights)

Restricted in ability to manoeuvre, under 50 metres..
Making Way, port view. (Basically a red/white/red in addition to normal lights)

Restricted in ability to manoeuvre, under 50 metres..
Making Way, stern view.  (Basically a red/white/red in addition to normal lights)

Memory Aids - again the only ones I can think about relate to men having two red balls - and if someone wedged a white ball between them then they’d be very restricted in ability to manoeuvre.  (Again apologies to the sensitive...).

Fog Signals
Note fog signals are as per sailing vessels - one long blast followed by two short blasts at intervals of not more than two minutes.

Day Shapes
A vessel restricted in ability to manoeuvre - ball diamond, ball in a vertical line. Note that it would be very common to see these in addition to the towing diamond shape on a vessel towing - and on its towed vessel.
